Who We Are

Buhat Eastern Visayas is a community-focused, youth-led organization which aims to provide grassroots initiatives and champion advocacies for communities in Region VIII. Our projects are aimed to help raise the region’s social awareness, civic engagement, and sense of shared identity—all for the benefit of our kapwa Eastern Visayans.

Pintaklase

Pintaklase is Buhat EV’s yearly bayanihan initiative held every first day of classes, bringing communities together to equip young learners with the essentials they need for a confident start to the school year.

Grace EV With A Tree

Nearly a decade after Typhoon Yolanda devastated Eastern Visayas, its impact remains etched into the memory of every community it touched. Buhat EV honors the thousands of lives lost and reflects on the lasting effects of the tragedy. This tribute holds special meaning as we remember our dear friend Grace Ann, whose love for nature continues to inspire us. In her honor, we lead a tree-planting initiative called “Grace EV with a Tree”, reaffirming our commitment to climate resilience, community strength, and the hope that grows with every seed we plant.
