Buhat Eastern Visayas is a community-focused, youth-led organization which aims to provide grassroots initiatives and advocacy for communities in Region VIII. Our projects are aimed to help raise the region’s social awareness, civic engagement, and sense of shared identity—all for the benefit of our kapwa Eastern Visayans.

Buhat Eastern Visayas shall provide essential opportunities for Eastern Visayans through projects which are focused on attaining quality education, decent livelihood, cultural preservation, environmental protection, and the eradication of prejudices and discrimination. It shall continue its vision with service, integrity and compassion while actively immersing in the community, proposing solutions to systemic problems, and empowering Eastern Visayans.
Buhat Eastern Visayas aspires to be the premier non-profit organization which builds informed, engaged, and resilient communities through collective action and shared responsibility in Region VIII, all for the benefit of Eastern Visayans. It envisions an empowered EV with equal opportunities for all social classes, free from the afflictions of social and economic inequality.

Through Yakan ni Lola, we celebrate the sayings that carry lessons across generations and keep the heart of Eastern Visayas alive.
MAY 2023
A simple initiative to promote safety in our communities. By placing sticker reflectors on pedicabs, we help improve visibility at night and remind everyone that even small actions can bring light and protection to Eastern Visayas.
SEPTEMBER 2023
By clearing waste and restoring our coastlines, we safeguard marine life, support local communities, and keep our beaches beautiful. Every small act of cleaning is a big step toward a healthier ocean.
NOVEMBER 2023
Rooted in care, growing with hope. Grace EV is our tree‑planting initiative to nurture the land and strengthen communities across Eastern Visayas. Each tree we plant is a step toward a greener, safer, and more sustainable future.
MAY 2024
A heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute in Eastern Visayas. Through Para Kan Mama, we honor the love and sacrifices of mothers by celebrating them with small tokens and freebies—simple gestures of gratitude for the women who give us strength every day.
JULY 2025
On the first day of school, we come together to share hygiene kits with students—small essentials that help them start the year clean, confident, and ready to learn. It’s a simple act of care that reflects the spirit of community and togetherness in Eastern Visayas.
